UHS Lahore Announces Admission Timeline for Allied Health Programs

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has issued admission schedule of its under-graduate programs in Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, as a report by a TV channel reveals.

This took place in a conjoint session of the Boards of Studies of Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Monday and the question of admissions to courses of study in Allied Health Sciences undergraduate courses of study and pharmacy undergraduate courses of study was approved at this meeting. UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore chaired the meeting and academics heads and principals of affiliate institutions participated in the meeting.

As per the agreed program, the admissions process of Fall Semester 2025 will start with the beginning of July and last until the end of the month. The UAT is going to take place in the first week of August (the first merit will be announced in the third week). The official beginning of the fall classes is to be on September 30, 2025.

The admissions window in Spring Semester 2026 will be on December of the last week of the month. The entrance tests will be conducted in the first week of February and merit list will be released in the third week of February. The start of classes will be March 30, 2026.

Another important aspect of the meeting was the necessity in high-quality clinical training. All the affiliated institutions of Allied Health were determined to have their teaching hospital with an accommodation of not less than 200 beds.

The Vice Chancellor has stressed that rather than depending on the Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the external healthcare facilities, institutions ought to establish in-house clinical training facilities. This will be adopted in order to create consistency and quality in medical education. This directive will be supplied by UHS to the Allied Health Council officially.
